Hemisphere Energy Corporation Commences Fall Drilling Program in Jenner
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/28/12 -- Hemisphere Energy Corporation ("Hemisphere" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: HME) is pleased to announce the commencement of its fall drilling program in the Jenner area of southeast Alberta.
Hemisphere plans to drill up to three horizontal development wells targeting the oil-bearing sandstones of the Glauconitic formation. Results of the fall drilling program will be announced as they become available.
Hemisphere has begun interpreting the newly acquired 3D seismic data over prospective lands in Jenner under the Company's seismic option and farm-in agreement announced on June 19, 2012. The preliminary results of the seismic data are encouraging and the Company has started selecting locations for its 2013 drilling programs.
During 2012, the Company has drilled a total of five oil wells to-date, achieving 100% success.
