Medistar Selected for Service and Quality Care
(firmenpresse) - BATON ROUGE, LA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/28/12 -- Medistar Home Health today announced that is has been selected by Humana in its first competitive bid process in the state of Louisiana. Such process covered four of Humana's Louisiana regions and Medistar was chosen to provide home health services throughout the state, including the regions in Humana's bid process, Baton Rouge and Shreveport, as well as some areas in its New Orleans and North Shore regions. In making this selection, Humana reviewed and considered Medistar's scope of services, quality of care, financial metrics, and geographic service area.
A current partner and provider of care to Humana's members throughout Louisiana, Medistar has been chosen as one of the select few home health agencies to continue serving these Louisiana regions and this will allow its members the benefit of receiving the highest quality of care possible from one of the nation's top home health care organizations.
