Russel Metals Announces Upgrades to Cut-To-Length Lines in Ontario
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 11/29/12 -- Russel Metals Inc. (TSX: RUS) is pleased to announce a $7 million investment for the upgrade of its two cut-to-length lines at its B&T Steel division in Stoney Creek, Ontario. The Company will be adding a Red Bud Industries stretcher leveler to its light gauge line and a Butech Bliss synergy hydraulic roller leveler to its heavy gauge line. These upgrades allow the Company to continue to provide superior quality products with industry leading flatness.
The installation involves a two phased approach starting with the light gauge line in early 2013 immediately followed by the heavy gauge line in mid-2013.
