Fernhill Corporation (FERN) Acquires Silver Bell Mine Property
(firmenpresse) - LAS VEGAS, NV -- (Marketwire) -- 12/04/12 -- Fernhill Corporation (PINKSHEETS: FERN) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement to acquire a 100% interest in one mineral claim containing 12 cell claims units comprising a total of 252.57 hectares of the "Silver Bell Mine Property," located on the south shore of Horne Lake, approximately 15 kilometers northeast of Port Alberni, British Columbia.
The Silver Bell Mine Property is underlain by Paleozoic rocks of the Sicker Group (Nitinat and McLaughlin Ridge/Myra Formations). The Myra Formation, in particular, is a known host of economic mineralization elsewhere on Vancouver Island. The geological environment found on the Silver Bell Property is consistent with an epithermal quartz vein style that is favorable for associated gold, silver and copper values.
In order to complete the exercise of the Silver Bell Mine option to acquire a 100% interest in the property, Fernhill Corporation must incur additional exploration expenditures on the property by March 31, 2013. A comprehensive work program will be put together over the next several weeks.
