Getting a better look inside the reservoir

(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/06/12 -- University of Calgary researcher Mario Costa Sousa has received $3 million in funding from the public and private sectors to develop new interactive tools to interpret oil and gas data through visual representations of reservoirs. Costa Sousa's research will ultimately influence decision-making that will benefit the environment and the bottom line of natural resource companies in Calgary and around the world.

Tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 7, is the official launch of Professor Costa Sousa's new NSERC/AITF/Foundation CMG Industrial Research Chair in Scalable Reservoir Engineering.
