Helios High Yield Fund Monthly and Special Dividend Declaration
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- (Marketwire) -- 12/07/12 -- Helios High Yield Fund (NYSE: HHY) (the "Fund") today announced that its Board of Trustees declared a monthly dividend of $0.075 per share, payable on December 27, 2012 to shareholders of record on December 19, 2012. The ex-dividend date is December 17, 2012. Based on the NYSE closing price of $10.46 on December 6, 2012, the Fund's annualized dividend yield is 8.60%.
In addition to its monthly dividend, the Board of Trustees also declared a special dividend of $0.01 per share, payable on December 27, 2012 to shareholders of record on December 19, 2012. The ex-dividend date is December 17, 2012. In order to be compliant with federal tax requirements, the special dividend will be paid from the Fund's undistributed net investment income.
Shares purchased on or after the ex-dividend date will not receive the dividend discussed above. Please contact your financial advisor with any questions. The dividend yield referenced above is calculated as the annualized amount of the most recent monthly dividend declared divided by the stated stock price.
