FIREGOLD WELCOMES NEW CEO AND EXECUTIVE VP
December 10, 2012 - Firegold Company Ltd. (SA1F; Frankfurt/Berlin) is
pleased to announce to the general public and its shareholders that it has
elected Mr. Stephen Mlot, P. Eng (Professional Engineer), to head up its
management team as President and CEO and Mr. Edward I. Bettiol, P. Eng., as
Executive Vice President of the firm.
Stephen is a result oriented team leader with proven problem solving and
decision making skills. He brings more than 30 years of experience at
senior level corporate positions within the mining industry. In these
positions, from mine planning and construction to project management and
mine development, he directly influenced and oversaw the many disciplines
required to bring a mine through to production. Mr. Mlot has held positions
as a Director and President&CEO of Carlisle Goldfields Limited, as a
Director and President of Patricia Mining Corp. and as President and
General Manager of Canadian Mineforce Inc.
Edward I. Bettiol, P. Eng., brings 40+ years of experience at senior levels
of mining management. He has held positions in the planning, constructing,
rehabilitating, operating and closure of many precious and base metals
mining and extraction operations. Production facilities overseen ranged
from 200 tons per day to over 4,000 tons per day. He has over 24 years
experience as General Manager and/or Manager at various mining companies.
He has also acted as an international consultant preparing sections of
audit reports pertaining to the processing and mining of metals and the
feasibility of mines.
The Board happily welcomes Stephen and Edward to the company and sees them
as very valuable additions to the team.
