New Executive Board member at GRAMMER AG
Supervisory Board appoints Manfred Pretscher (Dipl. Ing.) as new Executive
Board member effective August 01, 2010
Amberg, May 19, 2010 - At its meeting yesterday, the Supervisory Board of
SDAX-listed company GRAMMER AG appointed Manfred Pretscher as new member of
the Executive Board. After the departure of Dr. Rolf-Dieter Kempis from the
chairmanship of the GRAMMER AG Executive Board as of July 31, 2010,
Pretscher will complete the three-person board of the company alongside the
designated Executive Board Chairman Hartmut Müller and CFO Alois Ponnath.
Pretscher, who has been with the company since 2008, will be in charge of
the Seating Systems division, as well as acting as Personnel Director. He
will also be responsible for Purchasing and Operations as well as
Operations Performance Management for the automotive supplier and seating
systems manufacturer.
Trained as a machine fitter, Manfred Pretscher completed his engineering
degree at the Würzburg-Schweinfurt University of Applied Sciences as well
as the REFA Institute of Industrial Engineering and the Free University of
Berlin. He brings with him many years of experience in development,
marketing and project management in the automotive industry, for instance
with a major French automotive supplier, where he was managing director in
charge of air conditioning systems before moving on to GRAMMER AG. In the
past at GRAMMER AG, he was in charge of the Truck product group as well as
Group Projects.
