If you click on dislike or like with the iSpread.it-button, your expression of opinion will instantly appear on twitter, facebook and google buzz.
"The iSpread.it-button resembles the facebook like-button, but the user can additionally - and if desired simultaneously - publish his like on twitter and google buzz. This results in a considerably broader reach for the website operator, and of course for the user himself", says CIO Thomas Huhn to explicate the new widget he is currently working on with his yiid.com team.
After clicking like or dislike, the necessary authentication via facebook, twitter, google or yiid is carried out immediately. If, at that time, you"ve already signed up for one of these services, you authenticate yourself by clicking like or dislike.
Yiid.com launches iSpread.it for three reasons: Internet users shall henceforth be in a position to decide for themselves whether they like or don"t like a product or, most notably, a topic. Furthermore, they should be able to choose where exactly they want to publish their expressions of opinion. The monopolization of likes on and through facebook shall be broken up. The facebook-likes appear exclusively on the facebook stream and are gathered on suitable facebook fanpages.
"The facebook like-button is mainly directed to companies that wish to present their products in a positive light. I am therefore especially happy that my CTO Matthias Pfefferle together with his yiid.com team is now designing iSpread.it, and that within a short time, all publishers will find not only a reasonable but also a better alternative to embed the application into their websites!", says CEO Marco Ripanti to illustrate his latest idea.
Anyone who installs the iSpread.it-button on his own page can decide whether he requires only a like, or also a dislike. The dislike version of the button can simply be hidden.
iSpread.it is directed to marketers who want to spread their products among the relevant social media services, as well as to blogger and news services that wish to publish their topics on as many channels as possible.
From June onwards, everybody can configurate their button on iSpread.it, and embed it into their own websites. In the weeks to come the yiid.com team will further develop iSpread.it. Top priority is given to the possibility of naming the button differently, for example "recommend" and "don"t recommend" or, with regard to opinion surveys, "yes" and "no".
The first websites to install iSpread.it are www.Marketing-Boerse.de, www.fettspielen.de, www.yigg.de, www.gruenderszene.de, www.deutsche-startups.de, www.weinheimer-nachrichten.de and www.DozentenScout.de.
