VitalSmarts Welcomes New Leaders, Stephen Wunderli and Andrew Maxfield

(firmenpresse) - PROVO, UT -- (Marketwire) -- 12/17/12 -- VitalSmarts, an innovator in corporate training and organizational performance, recently welcomed two leaders to its team, Stephen Wunderli and Andrew Maxfield.

Wunderli joined VitalSmarts as a senior IP partner. He works with the VitalSmarts authors on the Intellectual Property team to create new products that increase individuals' and organizations' capacity to succeed. He will use his experience and skills to contribute to VitalSmarts' marketing and training messages and look for unique ways to share the Company's principles with an even larger audience.

Maxfield is the first director of the Influencer Institute, VitalSmarts' newly organized private operating foundation dedicated to enabling the social sector to influence human behavior more effectively. Currently, the Institute supports initiatives in two key focus areas: poverty reduction and improving educational outcomes for at-risk youth. Maxfield manages the Institute's consulting work, as well as a Not-for-Profit Training Grant Program.

Stephen Wunderli is a senior IP partner at VitalSmarts. He has worked in marketing communications for more than 30 years, writing and directing pieces for organizations with needs for emotion-based messages: The Salvation Army, A Foundation for a Better Life, Random Acts of Kindness Foundation, The Huntsman Cancer Institute, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and Rotary International. Wunderli has also created merchandising and licensing materials for the marketing divisions of Warner Bros., Nickelodeon, and Universal Studios. Wunderli has written film and communication pieces for Microsoft, Novell, Lovesac, and Phillips Electronics. He has received honors for his work from EMMYs, Gabriel, CINE, ADDY, International Advertising Awards, and the United Nations.





Andrew Maxfield is the first director of the Influencer Institute. Previously, Maxfield managed the technology development and communications of the Consensus Building Institute (CBI), a leading negotiation training and research firm based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. While at CBI he assisted in the facilitation of multiparty public disputes, regulatory negotiations and corporate-stakeholder engagement processes. He holds degrees from The University of Wisconsin-Madison and Brigham Young University, where he graduated as valedictorian and now serves as adjunct faculty.
