Latest Addition to Management Team Positions Company to Expand Into New Markets
(firmenpresse) - SANTA ANA, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/17/12 -- today announced that well-known banking industry veteran Christopher Whalen will head its investment banking operations as Executive Vice President, Managing Director for Carrington Investment Services, LLC. In his new position Whalen will be focused on fundraising as well as developing and marketing new products for Carrington's various business units.
Whalen was previously senior managing director at Tangent Capital Partners in New York. He is co-founder and vice chairman of the board of Institutional Risk Analytics, the Torrance, Calif. based provider of bank ratings and custom analytics, author of the 2010 book "Inflated: How Money and Debt Built the American Dream," and a regular contributor to publications such as Housing Wire, American Banker, The Institutional Risk Analyst and Zero Hedge. He has appeared before Congress, the Securities and Exchange Commission and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation on a range of financial, economic and political issues.
