The world leader in dye solar cell (DSC) materials and technologies Dyesol
Limited (ASX:DYE) has announced a major restructure that will significantly
strengthen the management team, and ensure better communication and
knowledge-sharing across global geographic borders. Founder Dr Gavin
Tulloch has resigned from the Board to focus entirely on technology
development.

In his role as Global Director -Technology, Dr Tulloch will oversee global
technology development to take advantage of every emerging opportunity. For
example, Dyesol expects that the recently announced glass programme in
Toledo, Ohio, USA has similar potential to the steel roofing programme in
Shotton, North Wales. However, maximising these emerging opportunities
requires an absolute focus on the scientific and technical challenges
required to take the company's technology from laboratory to commercial
scale.

Dyesol has established a credible presence in Asia and Europe/UK and an
emerging presence in the USA, whilst maintaining its headquarters in
Queanbeyan, Australia.

In addition, Dyesol will recruit a chief executive to lead and co-ordinate
the organisation's next growth stage including developing processes and
procedures required to operate successfully across international
boundaries. Research and development and related activities critical to
commercialising DSC will continue at the company's headquarters in
Queanbeyan, New South Wales.

The Dyesol board has short-listed three prospective candidates to fill the

role of Chief Executive Officer, each with strong DSC commercialisation
credentials, and looks forward to making an imminent appointment.

Since listing in 2005, the board has worked closely with the company
founders, Dr Gavin and Mrs Sylvia Tulloch, to promote and commercialise
DSC.

'Most importantly, significant milestones have been achieved to meet those
objectives including the establishment of collaborations and partnerships
with industry leaders in the built environment including Corus (Tata Steel)
UK, Pilkington NA and Singapore Aerospace Manufacturing,' Dyesol's chairman
Mr Richard Caldwell commented.

'We are also confident that additional defining relationships in the built
environment that will increase shareholder value will emerge in coming
months.

'Finally, new directors will be appointed to the Board to ensure we have
the appropriate governance skills and international experience to ensure
Dyesol's materials and technologies are successfully commercialised,' Mr
Caldwell said.

Note to editors
The Technology - DYE SOLAR CELLS
DSC technology can best be described as 'artificial photosynthesis' using
an electrolyte, a layer of titania (a pigment used in white paints and
tooth paste) and ruthenium dye deposited on glass, metal or polymer
substrates. Light striking the dye excites electrons which are absorbed by
the titania to become an electric current many times stronger than that
found in natural photosynthesis in plants. Compared to conventional silicon
based photovoltaic technology, Dyesol's technology has lower cost and
embodied energy in manufacture, it produces electricity more efficiently
even in low light conditions and can be directly incorporated into
buildings by replacing conventional glass panels or metal sheets rather
than taking up roof or extra land area.

The Company - DYESOL Limited
Dyesol is located in Queanbeyan NSW (near Canberra) and in August 2005 was
listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX Code 'DYE'). Dyesol
manufactures and supplies a range of dye solar cell products comprising
equipment, chemicals, materials, components and related services to
researchers and manufacturers of DSC. The Company is playing a key role in
taking this third generation solar technology out of the laboratory and
into the community.
