PUNKY DUNK PROJECT Offered Gratis Through the Holidays

Based on a 100-year-old children's story, PUNKY DUNK PROJECT: PUNKY DUNK AND THE GOLD FISH is being released by Dumfun Productions to coincide with the book's centennial. Published in 1912, the whimsical tale of a curious cat has been recreated by Kat Llewellyn with attention to detail. Hand-drawn to reflect the watercolor artwork of the original print edition, the app features a musical score and 101 interactive sounds and animations.
"Punky was a beautiful book. We wanted to pay homage to this lost literature in a unique, electronic way. Now each page holds hidden surprises," says Modine. "Creating a playful learning experience for early readers was a rewarding challenge."

He won a Golden Globe for SHORT CUTS, and his role as BIRDY helped win the Grand Jury Prize at Cannes. His work also includes Hallmark television movies and family fare like FLUKE and JACK AND THE BEANSTALK.
Gaining fame with Univision's MUCHACHITAS, Kate del Castillo made her U.S. television debut in AMERICAN FAMILY on PBS. Heard opposite George Lopez in Pixar's animated CARS, she appears in numerous film and television roles. She starred in LA REINA DEL SUR, and the finale drew the highest-rated viewership in Telemundo history. Both she and Modine had recurring roles on the Showtime series WEEDS.
