(firmenpresse) - PRELIMINARY RESULTS ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 30 JUNE 2012
Your Board announces that the Group’s results for the financial year ended 30th June 2012 have been published on its website. In a separate announcement today, the company confirms the acquisition of Infotech Digital Ltd, a digital out-of-home media group, and the signature of a placing letter for £3 million of new equity investment.
KEY POINTS
•Group turnover down 12% to £411k (2011: £471k)
•Group operating loss before exceptional items up 53% to £652k (2011: £424k)
•Underlying losses per share up 90% to 5.50p (2011: 2.90p)
•One-off £457k charge for the impairment of fixed assets in Media and Ridercam
•Capital expenditure on network expansion of £407k (2011: £349k)
•Net equity funding raised totalled £483k (2011: £751k)
Commenting on the results, Dominic Berger, Chief Executive, said:
“The Company has successfully navigated difficult economic times during the period, by reducing costs and focussing efforts on the profitable elements of the business. The Directors believe that this has resulted in a business that is well placed to deliver improved results in the current financial year. Coupled with the proposed acquisition the company intends to complete and the offer of new investment your Board believes that the company is well positioned to deliver substantial growth in 2013 in the exciting developing market of digital out-of-home Media.”
