Round the Clock, Real-Time Temperature Monitoring for Fleets Provides Data for Strategic Fleet Management

Cooltrax UMDs (universal monitoring devices) are installed and operational worldwide, providing on-line, real-time monitoring of refrigerated assets 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
No part of the cold chain introduces as many variables and risks that can affect temperature-sensitive products as the fleet. Dynamic factors such as driver behavior, reefer and trailer condition, distance to travel, and external ambient weather conditions can cause problems for products moving from the manufacturer, through the distribution center, and finally to store shelves.

This information allows the Cooltrax application to notify stakeholders of deviations in standard operating procedures.
