SGS Industrial Services(firmenpresse) - SGS presents a paper at the 2nd Oil & Gas Maintenance Technology North America Conference to be held from August 31 to September 2, 2010 in New Orleans, USA. The presentation entitled A Systematic Approach to Enhance Inspection-Maintenance Communication and Performance, will be given by Dr. Paul F. Schubert on September 1, 2010. The services offered by SGS will be presented throughout the exhibition at booth number 210.
Dr. Paul F. Schubert is an independent Asset Integrity Management expert with 26 years of experience in the petrochemical and natural gas industry. He is the inventor of 14 US Patents, and has published over 40 technical articles. His presentation at the OGMT will focus on a methodology which utilizes the knowledge base of the inspection, maintenance and engineering departments. The described process results in a system which provides key performance indicators for inspection and maintenance programs, facilitates knowledge transfer from senior personnel to junior personnel, retains corporate intellectual property and reduces the time between inspection and remediation. Additionally, it provides a means to evaluate the ability of current resources and to address the required maintenance, which can then be used for budgeting purposes.
