Web-Based LTL/LCL Rate Calculator Is Latest Addition to CaroTrans' Suite of e-Tools

Users receive a variety of route/sailing options allowing them to evaluate and select transportation services based on transit time/destination ETA (estimated time of arrival) and cost. Comprehensive costs are computed based on origin and destination locations, cargo pick-up date, number of pieces, weight, and freight volume. Calculating the cost of special cargo, such as hazardous, is also available.
CaroTrans' customers easily access Door to Port Rates on the CaroTrans North America homepage to quickly and efficiently obtain total costs for U.S. inland and global ocean transportation services based on contract rates.
The Door to Port Rate application is CaroTrans' latest addition to their suite of e-commerce tools which include: bookings, sailing schedules, LCL/FCL rates, tracking and inland rates.
