The New York-based law firm MURRAY, FRANK & SAILER LLP (www.murrayfrank.com) and the German legal representative of Fair Litigation AG, Thomas Ehling, have signed an extensive cooperation agreement.
The law firm is concentrated but not limited to class actions and is now expanding its activities into the area of antitrust law. The lawyers have been fought successfully for more than 1 billion U.S. dollars recovery in favour of their clients in large class actions. Brian Murray, founder and chairman of MURRAY, FRANK & SAILER LLP: "The enforcement of claims for damages is now a global business. In actions in the field of securities law, for example, European investors are still underrepresented. With our partners we want to facilitate their access to procedures in the United States while working to raise awareness of European lawyers to consider ever a claim of rights in the United States also."
In fact, there are a number of provisions that will open access to U.S. courts for foreign applicants. Potential future claims identified by Mr. Ehling andFair Litigation AG will be submitted to MURRAY, FRANK & SAILER LLP for review. For Mr. Ehling and Fair Litigation AG the conclusion of the agreement with such a top partner provides for a very fundamental step towards the creation of a powerful network in the United States. Initial decisions about the initiation of possible procedures presented by legal representatives and the Fair Litigation AG are expected soon.
