Press Release of 8 June 2010
AGO AG initiate non-profit association goals4kids e.V.

+++ Patronage by Dr. Karl Theodor zu Guttenberg and Hellen Zille
+++ Goals ensure educational sponsorship for deprived kids
+++ All administrative costs borne by AGO AG
+++ First project starts at FIFA World Cup 2010

Kulmbach, 8 June 2010: AGO AG Energie + Anlagen have initiated the
non-profit association goals4kids. The aim of this commitment is to sponsor
and support kids growing up in humble circumstances. Priority is given to
education since education is the key to solving problems and thus providing
for a future.

The project's patronages were assumed by the German Defence Minister Dr.
Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg and the Premier of the Western Cape (South
Africa) Helen Zille. The first goodwill ambassador is Karl Matthäus
Schmidt, speaker of the Board of Quirin Bank AG. 'That demonstrates the
far-reaching support of the association founded. A child miseducated is a
child lost. We as a company consider this quote by the USA's former
President John F. Kennedy a social responsibility. All administrative costs
are fully borne by AGO AG', says Hans Ulrich Gruber, BOD of the association
goals4kids e.V. and CEO of AGO AG Energie + Anlagen.

The association's current projects are called goals4southafrica and
goals4germany. For each goal scored by the German Male National Team during
the FIFA world cup in 2010 or the German Female National Team during the
FIFA world cup in 2011, goals4kids will assume an educational sponsorship

for one child from the country in which the tournament takes place. Also
the competition between the German male and female players will hopefully
result in as many goals as possible. In addition, there will be new goals
set up on South African and German football grounds for each goal scored.

'Further companies, institutions and private people are called on to join
the project goals4kids by assuming sponsorships or subscribing money. As a
partner of the initiative you would demonstrate that the sponsorship of
children is a matter of the heart to you and that you're interested in the
children's future and development', says Gruber.

The more people and companies join the project, the more kids can be
supported. Please find further information on goals4kids under
www.goals-4-kids.org.

About goals4kids:
goals4kids is anon-profit association with the aim to give deprived
children from Germany and South Africa an effective perspective by
providing them with adequate education. Because only when sufficiently
educated, new generations can solve their countries' problems and provide
for a future. Consequently, it's about giving the kids the opportunity to
build and consolidate their country. In order to achieve that, sports,
culture, arts or other activities apart from schooling are an appropriate
instrument to lead children out of social isolation and to expand their
perspectives. Team spirit, self confidence or ambition are just a few
examples for what sports are able to achieve. Therefore, nice football
grounds or the possibility to play a musical instrument for instance may
tip the scales for a positive development.
