FSP 3000 platform delivers ROADM technology to Estonian carrier, ensuring
highest flexibility and increased operational capability

more high-capacity services and flexibility across its entire network, Estonia's
Televõrgu has deployed ADVA Optical Networking
Reconfigurable Optical Add/Drop Multiplexing (ROADM
spans more than 1,000km and is now transporting traffic at speeds of 10Gbit/s.
Televõrgu has grown from an alternative service provider in Estonia into the
dominant trunking operator in Estonia and the Baltic nations. In its role as a
carriers' carrier and provider of bandwidth and other communications services,
Televõrgu required a network that would enable it to quickly provision services
on-demand. Uptime is also a key component to Televõrgu's high-quality service
offering, making reliability and network restoration key aspects of the
solution.

nations, southern Europe, Scandinavia and Russia through its participation in
the Baltic Optical Network (BON). In addition, through its participation in BON,
Televõrgu cooperates with telecommunications companies from other European
countries in the For Connecting Europe (4cE) alliance, which offers a

services across the broad service area.
