PANAMA, REPUBLIC OF PANAMA--(Marketwire - June 8, 2010) - Thunderbird Resorts
Inc. ("Thunderbird" or "Group") (FRANKFURT: 4TR)(EURONEXT: TBIRD) reports the
following:
Results of Annual Shareholder Meeting: On 4 June, 2010, at the Group's Annual
General and Special Meeting of Shareholders held in San Jose, Costa Rica, Jack
R. Mitchell, Albert W. Atallah, Salomon Guggenheim, Joaquin Daly, Douglas
Vicari, Franz Winkler and Roberto de Ocampo were elected as Directors for one
year terms. Franz Winkler is a new member of the Board. The newly constituted
Board and Management take this opportunity to thank Reto Heierli for his service
on the Board. Grant Thornton UK, LLP, were-appointed as auditors for the ensuing
year. A resolution to ratify and approve all previous acts and deeds by the
Directors since the beginning of the last meeting of shareholders was approved.
Election of Officers: Thunderbird is pleased to announce that the Board of
Directors appointed the following persons as officers of the Group for the
ensuing year:

1. This table includes Panama operations that are reflected as discontinued
operations in our consolidated financial statements (due to a possible sale that
is pending)
2. During the third quarter of 2008, the Group acquired a controlling interest
in the entity that holds the Fiesta Casino Holiday Inn Express (formerly Garden
Court) operation, and as a result began consolidating that operation at 100
percent beginning 1 September 2008. The balance of the Costa Rican operation is
a joint venture of the Group and its results of operations are proportionally
consolidated into the Group's financial statements, therefore the table above
represents the Group's 50 percent share in all the operations other than the
Holiday Inn Express property which is reported at 100 percent. The Group owns
controlling interest in all other countries and accordingly sales are reported
at 100 percent. For details of Group ownership at the country level please refer
to the Group's Annual Report 2009.
