Berlin, 23 January 2013 - ESTAVIS AG intends to acquire a residential
portfolio including 177 housing units in the town of Bernau near Berlin.
The properties are redeveloped and almost fully occupied, the vacancy rate
being around two percent. The purchase price equals approximately 10
million Euros, and will be settled within the framework of a capital
increase involving non-cash contributions in return for shares in the
company. 'With the acquisition of this excellent and almost fully occupied
portfolio, we continue the ongoing expansion of our residential portfolio.
The acquisition matches our strategy to invest in places where we can
generate positive cash-flows from the start,' said Andreas Lewandowski,
Member of the Board of ESTAVIS AG.
New Strategic Investors Gained
Moreover, ESTAVIS AG resolved to increase the company's share capital
within the framework of a capital increase by ten percent through cash
contributions while excluding the shareholders' subscription rights. Within
the framework of this capital increase, around 1.3 million shares will be
placed with selected investors. The capital increase is already fully
subscribed. The company will collect issuing proceeds totalling
approximately EUR 2.3 million in the process. 'We are pleased to say that
we were able to gain new investors for ESTAVIS AG. It goes to show that our
stock is attractive to investors, who are well aware of our growth
potential,' said Lewandowski.
