Addressing the changing workload and bandwidth requirements of the cloud, AppliedMicro will conduct two presentations focusing on 100G Ethernet standardization and the ARM 64-bit X-Gene Server on a Chip™ platform.

Dan Dove will present "The Next Phase in 100G Optical Ethernet Standardization for Data Centers," discussing the latest activities in IEEE 802.3bm standardization on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 10 a.m.

Chris Bergen will present "Architecting a Cloud Server for Evolving Data Center Workloads," discussing how new server and board configurations can address changing workloads in the cloud while driving down the total cost of ownership (TCO) in the data center on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 2:25 p.m.

The Linley Tech Data Center Conference is a two-day, single track event focused on the processors, components, and interconnects for data-center networking and servers.

Conference hours are:

Reception: 5:15 - 6:45 p.m.
