Worldlink, the owner of the UK and US patent for the transmission of profiled REAL-time data to mobile devices, is launching a Sports Division to take advantage of its unique technology and has also launched a World Cup song, “Cheer On Stevie G”.

The Sports Division is to be headed by Alan Bentley, a former leading Sky Sports reporter and the author of the song’s lyrics. Through the service, subscribers will be able to view REAL-time betting odds provided by Jennings Bookmakers. Jennings is currently offering odds of 100-1 for the Worldlink World Cup single to go to Number 1.

At a touch of a button or via a dedicated telephone line, customers will be able to place bets after viewing the latest odds presented in REAL-time.

To celebrate the launch of the new Division, Worldlink has launched a World Cup single called “Cheer On Stevie G” with a percentage of the proceeds being donated to charity. The song has been recorded by Steve Boyce, a well known recording artist, who at the behest of Virgin Radio opened the Hard Rock Calling Concert at Hyde Park in 2008 with Eric Clapton. The song is available on iTunes. To get the single, go to iTunes under Steve Boyce – “Cheer On Stevie G”. Two versions of the single are available priced at 99p each or £1.41p for both. One is a Party Mix. Previews can also be found on www.youtube.com.

The Sports Division and the betting service, which is available FREE can be downloaded to your mobile and desktop computer. Details of the Sport Division download will be announced shortly. This is the second service that Worldlink has launched this month. The first was the imobilemarkets financial service which offers customers FREE REAL-time financial information.

The imobilemarkets service also provides:

•Stock Markets – REAL-time share information so that customers can watch share prices change in real-time across the London Stock Exchange, Turquoise, AIM and Plus markets




•Foreign Exchange – REAL-time information on a wide range of currency pairings
•Commodities – pricing information on the most popular currencies traded
•Watchlists – where you can track the performance of your own share portfolio
•News – Stock market, economic and company information can be tracked in REAL-time so you can find out what news and how the news affects the stock market
•Charts – customers can track the historic performance of share for example, over a five year period

The imobilemarkets product also allows you to trade via the service. Once a customer subscribes, they can take advantage of the “Broker Button” which is a telephone number linked directly to Worldlink’s share dealing service so shares can be bought and sold wherever a customer happens to be.
