Finnish Customs are investigating the import of screws and steel fasteners from
the Far East by Rautakesko and related markings of origin. Rautakesko is
cooperating with the customs authorities and sees it important that the matter
is cleared.
The customs authorities have conducted a tax audit at Rautakesko Ltd related to
the import and markings of origin of steel fasteners in 2009 - 2011. The two
persons suspected of tax fraud in the preliminary inquiry in the matter no
longer work for Rautakesko.
