Workshop Will Offer Young Musicians Opportunity to Learn From an Industry Pro
(firmenpresse) - ORLANDO, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 02/05/13 -- You've seen her tour with Aerosmith, perform on American Idol and with some of the greatest names in music. Now, and , with support from , bring famed jazz saxophonist for an exclusive at the Nickelodeon Suites Resort on Feb. 16.
"We are excited to bring our customers this amazing opportunity to learn from someone as talented as Mindi Abair," said Michael Vandiver, District Manager for Music & Arts. "We are sure this workshop will inspire young musicians and provide them with invaluable musical knowledge."
Abair will open the event with a special performance featuring the West Orange High School Jazz Band, followed by an hour-long workshop that will highlight Abair's personal music journey from high school drum major to award-winning musician. The distinguished artist will also share her best tips and techniques for better sax playing. After the event, Abair will be available for an autograph session and Music & Arts will announce their special giveaway prize.
Abair has been featured on American Idol; performed with artists such as Duran Duran, Lalah Hathaway, Josh Groban and The Backstreet Boys; and has produced albums that have topped the Billboard Contemporary Jazz sales charts.
