("Allied Nevada" or the "Company") (TSX: ANV)(NYSE Amex: ANV)(NYSE MKT: ANV) announces that it will hold its 2013 Annual Meeting of Shareholders (the "Annual Meeting") on May 2, 2013, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. EST at The Design Exchange, 234 Bay Street, Toronto-Dominion Centre, Toronto, Ontario. The record date for determining the holders of the Company's common stock entitled to vote at the Annual Meeting is March 8, 2013. All shareholders of record as of March 8, 2013 are cordially invited to attend.
