Berlin, 22.06.2010: Frogster Interactive Pictures AG, international
publisher of massively multiplayer online games with headquarters in Berlin
and subsidiaries in Berlin, San Francisco and Seoul, has accomplished its
capital increase from authorised capital stock by 238,000 shares to a new
total of 2,900,000 shares under exclusion from subscription rights. The new
shares have been fully placed privately without the common discount to the
average stock market price of the five previous trading days and the
subscription was closed ahead of schedule. With the capital increase the
company receives more than 4 million Euros fresh money. It shall be widely
used for the purchase of one, two or even three licenses of client based
MMO Games with Triple-A quality claim. The management anticipates at least
one license agreement to be closed shortly. For the one or more titles, a
release is already scheduled for 2011.
Update on current revenues and upcoming launch of the 'slim client'
The revenue trend in the current month of June is positive. In the eyes of
the management, there is a chance to achieve a new monthly revenue record.
In July, the already announced 'slim client' shall be launched, a software
program of Frogster's MMO Game hit 'Runes of Magic' that is significantly
reduced in download volume. It will grant interested players a much easier
access to the 3D adventure world that has been awarded many times and is
free-to-play at the beginning. This could create a growth spurt especially
in foreign countries.
Update on Shareholder Pool
Compared to the status published on 16.06.2010 there is no news regarding
the shareholder pool running until 30.06.2010.
