Hamburg, 11 February 2013. Joyou AG, a leading bathroom solution provider
in China, has opened net 194 new Joyou branded retail stores across China
in 2012. During the past year 16 flagship stores, 95 exclusive stores, 80
authorised stores and 3 Experience Centres have been established. In total
Joyou brings its network of retail stores to 4,092 as of 31 December 2012
(3,898 stores as of 31 December 2011).
The new Joyou Experience Centres represent an essential element of Joyou's
sales strategy: The Centres allow the consumer to interact on a deeper
level with the Joyou brand strengthening customer loyalty. More
importantly, the Centres support the company's move into project business
by acting as showrooms to project developers. The new Experience Centres
have been opened in Fujian Province, showing and selling the complete range
of Joyou products.
Joyou's future growth strategy will focus on international sales, project
development sales and on increasing sales per store. The goal to increase
the sales per store will be achieved through the following steps: driving
store traffic through marketing, training on up- and cross-selling as well
as enhancing after-sales services and referral sales.

Kitchen Products, Shower Products, Ceramics and Bathtubs, Bathroom
Cabinets, Bathroom Accessories, Other Faucets and Sanitary Hardware, Copper
and Semi-Finished Components, Grohe Business. In 2011, Joyou realised group
revenues of EUR 287.1 million, an operating profit (EBIT) of EUR 45.3
million and a net profit of EUR 38.5 million.
