While the unveiling will bring many pleasant surprises, clients and guests of this extended-stay have been kept in the loop of all the changes with the hotel's LEGO project.
At the start of the renovation, the hotel informed clients of the work in progress by delivering a package of LEGOs with directions for them to start building. As the renovations of its public spaces and started to take shape, clients were sent additional pieces to expand their own projects. Those who toured the property got special LEGO pieces to add to their buildings.
Those attending the RI-fresh unveiling party will be bringing their LEGO projects along, and guests will vote on the best creation. The winner will receive a weekend stay at the Residence Inn Carlsbad, tickets to LEGOLAND and a gas card. All of the LEGO creations will be donated to Butterfly House, a Phoenix area non-profit that's 100% volunteer run and provides support, assistance, empowerment, counseling and more to victims and survivors of domestic violence.
