Russel Metals Announces the Promotion of John G. Reid to Chief Operating Officer

(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 02/21/13 -- Russel Metals Inc. (TSX: RUS) today announced the promotion of John G. Reid to Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company. John started with JMS Metals Services, Inc. in 1991 and was promoted to President in 1994. John has served as President of the Company's JMS Russel Metals operations since the Company's acquisition of JMS in 2007. Since 2009 John has taken on additional responsibilities within the Russel Metals group of companies.
