Nick Santangelo, General Manager of the Tilted Kilt, has been at the pub since opening day. "Five years ago, it was exciting to be opening this great new Celtic themed sports pub next to Petco Park on St. Patrick's Day and two weeks later, it was opening day for the Padres."
According to owner/partner Anthony Laureti, "Five years is significant in today's economy and for the restaurant industry in general. The Tilted Kilt's location right next to Petco Park has served us well and my partners and I are extremely grateful to all of our customers and employees for five great years."
The Tilted Kilt Area Developer team of Anthony Laureti, Tamara Laureti, Bill Reynolds and Jason Wood opened additional Tilted Kilts in Temecula in 2010 and Mission Valley in 2011. In November 2012, they opened the Tilted Kilt near the Honda Center in Orange County with another franchisee. Currently, the team is building out a new Tilted Kilt at the Linq in Las Vegas with the Caesars Entertainment Group that will open in October 2013.
