Glen Eagle Delineates Large Phosphate Mineralization at Moose Lake
(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 02/26/13 -- Glen Eagle Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: GER) ("Glen Eagle" or the "Company") is pleased to report the final results from the drilling program (2074 meters) carried out last fall on its Moose Lake phosphate project. The drill holes were positioned 100 meters apart and were drilled to a depth of 100 meters. The drill program was designed to test the continuity of the deposit over 1.1 km East/West by 300 meters wide North/South. This entire zone has now been successfully tested.
Drill hole LO-12-34 located at the north end of the deposit kept intercepting the down dip extension of the mineralized zone. Drill holes LO-12-32 and LO-12-35 were infill holes. LO-12-41 and LO-12-43 did not intersect the phosphate unit which is believed to have been drilled in an intrusive formation in the vicinity. To the exception of the South end, the deposit remains open in all directions and at depth.
The fall drilling program was successful in extending the phosphate-bearing ferrogabbro to the west and to the north (down dip extension) with an average thickness of approximately 50 meters.
A complete compilation of the data accumulated since the inception of the first drilling program is currently in progress and will be instrumental in defining the next campaign.
Gilles Laverdiere, P. Geo., a qualified person according to the NI 43-101 disclosing standards, is supervising the drilling program and has reviewed and approved the technical content presented herein.
