Jetta and Passat Lead the Way

A total of 3,911 new cars and light trucks delivered the fourteenth consecutive month of best-ever sales for the company and were 11% higher than during February of last year (3,539). Year-to-date sales of 7,284 have solidly increased Volkswagen's market share in Canada.

"Our goal is to make Volkswagen the most aspirational volume brand in Canada," stated John White, President and CEO of Volkswagen Group Canada. "We hope to accomplish this with our strong lineup of vehicles and very competitive pricing."

The remains the top-selling car in the Volkswagen lineup, with 2,218 sold last month. Now priced from just $14,990, the Jetta is one of the most popular cars in Canada.
