Munich, 6 July 2010: Effective 1 July 2010, Dr. Philipp Gusinde (39) will
be adding his considerable talents to the management team of BAVARIA
Industriekapital AG, an exchange-listed industrial holding company. With a
PhD in economics, Dr. Gusinde comes to BAVARIA from Apax Partners
investment firm, were he functioned as Worldwide Senior Principal for
company acquisitions, particularly in the Business Services sector.
Following stints at the Apax offices in Munich and New York, Philipp
Gusinde brings more than 10 years of deal-making experience to BAVARIA
Industriekapital in his capacity as Managing Director. For over 8 years
now, the Munich-based corporate group, headed by its founder Reimar Scholz,
has been acquiring and successfully restructuring earnings-poor and
unprofitable companies. For his part, Dr. Gusinde will be focussing on
European firms with annual turnover of at least EUR 50 million. BAVARIA
Industriekapital currently holds financial participations in 14 companies
from the manufacturing or industrial services sectors. Its total workforce
numbers roughly 5,000 employees.
Reimar Scholz, CEO of BAVARIA Industriekapital was enthusiastic about the
