Bureau Veritas Certification has awarded the FSC certificate to the Cham
Paper Group companies Cham Paper Group AG and Cham Paper Group Italia
S.p.A. This certificate accelerates the implementation of a control system
in compliance with the standards of the internationally-recognised Forest
Stewardship Council (FSC) and is confirmation that the above companies meet
the following requirements:
- FSC CoC Multisite Standard in compliance with FSC-STD-40-003, V.1.0
- FSC CoC Chain of Custody Standard in compliance with FSC-STD-40-004,
V.2.0 (Credit System)
- FSC CoC Controlled Wood Standard in compliance with FSC-STD-40-005, V.2.1
The certificate authorises the Italian mills in the Cham Paper Group to
produce FSC Pure, Mixed and Controlled pulp for the manufacture and sale of
high-quality special papers with the Mixed Sources FSC label. This way, the
special paper manufacturers are reinforcing their commitment to the
environment and are able to offer their customers even more papers from
environmentally-sustainable forests. The Cham Paper Group is also planning
the certification of their head office in Cham for January 2011, providing
a single group-wide standard concerning FSC certification.
