Zurich, 13 July 2010, CMX Capital Markets Exchange AG (“CMX”) announces that at an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders convened on 6th July 2010 that the resolution to change the company name to LHKX Capital AG was unanimously accepted by the shareholders present at the meeting.
Furthermore, the appointment of Mr Philip Reid as Chairman of the Board and Mr Helmut Kuehlein as a Board Member was approved by the shareholders.
Mr Philip Reid (aged 60) has over 30 years experience in the international investment banking sector having held senior positions in stock broking, venture capital, asset management and corporate finance with blue chip organisations inclusive: Merrill Lynch, Continental Trust and The National Research Development Corporation. During the period 1989 – 1999 Mr Reid was a founder and key management team member at Dublin IFSC based Custom House Asset Management an independent advisor and administrator for third party investment funds. Mr Reid is currently the Executive Vice Chairman for London Hong Kong Exchange Plc.
Mr Helmut Helmut Kühlein (aged 58) brings a wealth of experience gained over 25 years in the European Investment Banking sector. Mr Kühlein has held senior Sales and Trading management positions with CAT Asset Management (Liechtenstein), Minerva Investments Taunus (Liechtenstein), Sallfort AG (Basel), ABN AMRO Bank AG (Frankfurt) and was Head of Trading desk at Credit Suisse First Boston (Frankfurt). Over 10 years, Mr Kühlein has developed an extensive investor network and know-how in the private placements sector.
