Agentless, Automated Solution Reduced Errors by More Than 70 Percent

As a result, the company has cut down implementation time on new security and IT policies from days to minutes and has reduced the number of errors in those policies, such as critical patches gaps, by 71 percent.

Clal first selected Promisec in 2007 when the company's endpoint environment reached a point of complexity that could no longer be effectively managed with existing solutions. The company learned that gaps in its IT and security policies were not being properly reported by traditional tools, an issue that exposed the company not only to cyber threats and internal risks, but also jeopardized compliance with regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley and standards set forth by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). They needed a tool that could fill these gaps on an ongoing basis across the company's more than 4,000 employees and 2,000 insurance agents operating across multiple locations.

Promisec Endpoint Manager (formerly INNERSpace) was initially implemented as a security monitoring tool, enabling Clal to address those policy gaps, as well as provide greater endpoint visibility and detection of risks. Realizing the solution could meet a much wider range of needs and eliminate the need to oversee multiple, disparate tools, Clal extended its use of Promisec Endpoint Manager in 2012. As a result, the solution not only monitors the company's daily security and IT operations, but is now also automating IT processes and interacting with other management systems.
