This paper deals with the Cuban missile crisis the 1962nd After describing the history of the conflict, particularly in the two weeks of 14 10th to 28.10. 1962 is under the author and explains how the crisis could escalate and how then, perhaps at the last minute, a solution was found which saved the world from a nuclear disaster.

In October 1962 there was a very serious confrontation between the two nuclear superpowers in the world, the United States and the Soviet Union. The trigger for this gravest crisis since the end of World War II was the stationing of Soviet nuclear missiles in Cuba. The Cuban Missile Crisis is considered as the climax and turning point of the Cold War.
