PlanetHoster's BGP network is fully redundant due to its connections to Level3, Telia, Tinet, Tata, etc. To handle route optimization through its multiple IP connections, PlanetHoster has deployed Noction IRP -- a route analysis and optimization system used to ensure efficient packet delivery from PlanetHoster's networks. IRP accomplishes that by choosing the route with optimal loss and latency metrics. The system enables PlanetHoster to proactively reroute congestion and outages, evaluate overall performance and dynamically modify in order to attain maximum . The process is now completely automated. It excluded the need for constant manual intervention that was previously needed.
Noction IRP determines the best Internet routes in real-time, enabling automated, intelligent routing, as opposed to the manual, reactive approach taken by many Service Providers. Noction enables PlanetHoster to implement self-managed intelligent computing for routing decision-making. The system collects network information, analyzes the data to determine the best route and implements these decisions in real-time.
