African Eagle Resources plc ("African Eagle", "AFE" or "the Company", ticker
AIM: AFE, AltX: AEA) was notified today that Mr Christopher Davies, a Director,
purchased 48,768 ordinary shares in the Company on July 13, 2010. The ordinary
shares were purchased at a price of 4.05 pence per share. Accordingly Mr Davies'
beneficial interest in the share capital of the Company is now 1,020,498
ordinary shares representing approximately 0.34 per cent of the issued share
capital of the Company.
