U2nite has no central database, where user information is stored. Therefore the information is safe, even incase the server is attacked. Not even the developers of the system see more than the user defines in their profile.
Once a user goes offline, user data is deleted completely from the system. Merely the pictures stay online for reasons of app performance on the internet - but even this process is anonymous.
When a date is requested, the app even recommends a neutral places to meet such as a cafe or a safe public place. Safety always comes first.
For a low cost of only 5,99$, users get full and unlimited functionality. No subscription, no further costs or monthly fees.
