Forent Energy Ltd.: W. Brett Wilson to File Early Warning Report
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/19/13 -- Forent Energy Ltd. ("Forent" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: FEN) today reports that, since April 20, 2010, W. Brett Wilson has acquired, directly or indirectly, shares exceeding 2% of the outstanding common shares of Forent. This 2% reporting threshold was reached on March 13 and March 14, 2013 with the acquisition of 717,000 common shares of Forent (the "Acquisition"). The shares were purchased at an average purchase price of $0.0683 per share through the facilities of the TSX Venture Exchange for investment purposes. Mr. Wilson may in the future acquire additional shares in the Company, if deemed appropriate to do so in his sole discretion.
Following the Acquisition, Mr. Wilson owns directly or indirectly and exercises control over 23,441,920 common shares of Forent, representing approximately 14.2% of the Company's issued and outstanding common shares. Mr. Wilson also holds options entitling him to purchase an aggregate of 850,000 common shares of Forent upon exercise of the options and warrants entitling him to purchase an aggregate of 398,077 common shares of Forent upon exercise of warrants, bringing his total ownership to 24,689,997 common shares or approximately 14.8% of Forent's issued and outstanding common shares on a partially diluted basis.
Mr. Wilson is also a trustee of a family trust, which he does not control or direct, which owns 15,720,000 shares, none of which Mr. Wilson is a beneficial owner.
