(firmenpresse) - SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/20/13 -- ArtSpan, a San Francisco non-profit organization supporting artists throughout the Bay Area, is hosting its annual Benefit Art Auction on Saturday, April 13, 2013 with proceeds funding its art programs and community outreach.
The annual fundraiser, featuring three silent sections and one live auction, will showcase over 100 pieces of artwork in multiple mediums and styles from emerging and established Bay Area artists.
Attendees can expect to find art hand-picked by design professionals from the Bay Area and beyond giving long-time art patrons and new collectors an opportunity to view and purchase original pieces while contributing back to San Francisco's creative community.
Cocktails and wine will be accompanied by delicious hors d'oeuvres and light faire provided by Macadamia Events and Catering of San Francisco.
Other donated gift packages will also be available for purchase, courtesy of local restaurants and businesses.
Proceeds from the event directly benefit the nonprofit's youth programs, which provide arts education to 600 underserved youth in San Francisco at no expense to the school or students' families, in addition to benefiting working artists and the public.
