Record numbers confirm sustainable turnaround
Impreglon first 6 months: Sales + 54%, EBIT + 628%
30.06.2010 30.06.2009 + / -After the worldwide crisis in 2009 Impreglon presents record numbers for
Sales (TEUR) 25,499 16,533 + 54%
EBITDA (TEUR) 4,770 1,810 + 164%
EBIT (TEUR) 2,396 -454 + 628%
EBT (TEUR) 1,292 -1,135 + 214%
Net result (TEUR) 609 -1,409 + 143%
Earnings per share (EUR) 0.10 -0.27 + 137%
the first half of 2010. Group sales of EUR 25.5 million are highest in the
company history and have matched the growth rates prior to the economic
crisis. With 9.4% of sales in the first 6 months EBIT almost reached the
2-digit goal for the full year announced by management. The same applies to
the 18.7% EBITDA. Net result and earnings per share are reduced by special
one time effects, such as losses on sales of treasury shares and
restructuring of the automotive sector. Both should increase faster in the
second half of 2010.
All 3 important business segments OEM (plant and equipment manufacturers),
Automotive and Aftermarket (production companies) have profited from the
substantial sales increase, whereas OEM and automotive sales have picked
up late and show additional potential. Management is quite optimistic to
reach record sales of EUR 50 million projected for the full year of 2010. A
number of acquisitions targeted for the second half of 2010 should create
additional growth.
