Thomson CompuMark alleviates the administrative burden and accelerates the
trademark clearance process for trademark professionals and their global network
of peers

NORTH QUINCY, Mass., March 21, 2013 - Thomson CompuMark, a Thomson Reuters
Intellectual Property & Science business and global leader in trademark
searching and brand protection solutions, today announced the launch of
SERION(®) Online Collaboration, a project management tool that enables trademark
professionals to easily assign, collaborate and consolidate analysis on Thomson
CompuMark  trademark search reports with their global network of peers. It
minimizes administrative resources, time and costs associated with multi-
jurisdictional trademark clearance projects.

SERION Online Collaboration, a no cost added feature on the SERION platform,
enables trademark professionals to successfully launch and expand brands by
expediting the process of receiving supplemental information provided by their
regional network of experts. A Thomson CompuMark clearance search provides the
information needed to assess the availability of a trademark proposed for
registration. This information is then used by regional experts familiar with
local trademark laws, culture and business landscapes to provide insightful
perspectives on potential conflicts in their markets that could prevent
successful registration.

"In the midst of intensified competition, increased workloads, often without
additional staff and frozen budgets, trademark professionals face an uphill
battle to quickly protect brands globally," said Shawn O'Brien, director of
product development, Thomson CompuMark. "We are pleased to facilitate our
customers' ability to efficiently execute international trademark clearance
projects and make the best informed decisions on global brand protection with
SERION Online Collaboration."

With SERION Online Collaboration trademark professionals can assign Thomson
CompuMark trademark clearance search reports to their network of global peers,
monitor progress and review multiple assessments simultaneously in one report in
the SERION Analysis Tool. Using SERION, local experts review assigned reports
and respond with their conclusions, minimizing back-and-forth emails. The
project owner can then view and merge analysis from multiple colleagues in a
'Consolidated Overview' report, eliminating the need to work with multiple
reports in different formats and minimizing the possibility of missing key
findings.

SERION Online Collaboration for Thomson CompuMark trademark watch reports will
be available in the second quarter of 2013.  Trademark professionals will be
able to automatically share watch finding reports with their corporate clients
and collaborate on results analysis.
