Klaus Röhrig appointed member of the FP Supervisory Board
Birkenwerder, 26 March 2013. The District Court of Neuruppin has appointed
Klaus Röhrig as a member of the Supervisory Board of Francotyp-Postalia
Holding AG with effect from 1 April 2013. He succeeds Felix Hölzer, who is
stepping down on 31 March 2013.
Mr Röhrig has more than twelve years of experience in financing and
investment management. After studying economics in Vienna, he began his
career in 2000 at Credit Suisse First Boston in London focusing on IPOs and
M&A. From 2006 to 2011, he was responsible for Germany, Austria and
Switzerland at Elliott Associates.
Shareholding of more than 10%
The new Supervisory Board member expressed interest in a seat on the
Supervisory Board and thereby taking responsibility for the company in
January of this year, after his shareholding exceeded the 10% threshold.
'The Management Board and Supervisory Board welcome the decision by Mr
Röhrig. We look forward to positive cooperation', says Hans Szymanski,
Chairman of the FP Management Board.
Consequently, the Supervisory Board of Francotyp-Postalia Holding AG
remains composed of three members. Dr Claus Gerckens, member since 2009, is
Chairman of the Supervisory Board as of 27 June 2012. He was Chairman of
the Management Board of Böwe Systec AG until January 2009 and has more than
20 years of managerial experience in industrial enterprises.
Since 28 July 2012, the other member of the Francotyp-Postalia Holding AG
Supervisory Board has been Robert Feldmeier. The business administrator's
previous roles include positions at IBM Deutschland and as Chairman of the
Management Board of Triumph-Adler AG from 2005 to 2010.
