Pohjola to open a branch office for corporate customers in Vilnius - services available in all Baltic countries

As the Lithuanian branch office is opened, Pohjola now provides corporate
customer services in all of the Baltic countries. Corporate customer services in
the Baltic countries consist of payment and liquidity management and working
capital, leasing and investment financing. Comprehensive non-life insurance
services are offered through Seesam subsidiary.
"One of our key objectives in our new strategy is to increase our market
position profitably in the Baltic countries. Our operations in Estonia and
Latvia have got off to a good start despite the difficult market situation. We
have positive expectations about the economic development in Lithuania. We are
targeting our services in Lithuania at our existing Finnish customers and large
local companies," says Reima Rytsölä, Senior Executive Vice President, Banking.

Enabled by the new branch office, Pohjola and OP-Pohjola Group member
cooperative banks can provide their corporate customers in Lithuania with
payment and cash management services.

in the Baltic countries since 2008. Our service range has included extensive
finance lease services. In the summer of 2011, Pohjola opened a corporate branch
