Yummy Market announces the winner of the Yummy Market CityTV promotion held as part of the Maple store Grand Opening celebration. Alexei Tsvetkov, Yummy Market's CEO, presented the $500 Gift Card to Valerie Bush of Milton, ON, on Monday, March 25, at the Maple store located at 1390 Major Mackenzie Drive at Dufferin Street. From February 13 to March 1, 2013, in partnership with CityTV, the company held a free-to-enter contest open to all Canadians for a chance to win a $500 Yummy Market shopping spree.
Saturday, March 2nd marked the start of a new chapter in the European supermarket's history with the opening of a new 50,000-square-foot location in Maple. The architecture of the store includes images of European landmarks, curved bulkheads and open market areas. The store launch included a live band, ice sculptures, children's entertainment and a ceremonial ribbon cutting by Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and other elected officials from the city of Vaughan.
