New: UNIFLEX in Uruguay - Sales and Service for South America(firmenpresse) - Known worldwide for The best Return on Investment UNIFLEX is now in South America. By establishing a new subsidiary in Uruguay, UNIFLEX Hydraulik GmbH (www.uniflex.de) covers another continent on its global sales and service map. From now on, the growing markets in South America are supported from the capital city of Montevideo.
Karben, March 2013: Following Europe, Asia and the USA, the system provider UNIFLEX now has representation in South America. With a population of 577 million inhabitants, South America"s GDP reached a growth of over 5%. Growth is seen in the particularly emerging areas such as mining, forestry, and the oil and gas industry. The demand for UNIFLEX products and services in the field of hydraulic hose production and repair is extremely high.
"Uruguay with just over 3.5 million inhabitants is one of the smallest countries on the continent, but administratively it is ideally located", explains UNIFLEX managing director Patrick Sticker on the decision.
The new subsidiary, at an attractive location of the seaport Montevideo, offers office space. Also a warehouse in the free zone Zonamerica and a show room with workshop exist in Montevideo. Andres Sofer, General Manager, and Alvaro Rodriguez Rodo, Area Sales Manager, in cooperation with Mauricio Monzoni, who is in charge of the Brazilian market, are going to further develop existing contacts and put sales and service in South America on a new, sound basis. "We are pleased to fulfill our customers' expectations, even better in the future" Patrick Sticker predicts.
